Your OnePlus 6 can do all sorts of things, but spends a lot of time on the charger.
If you spend a lot of time playing Clash of Clans or watching cat videos on the internet, this could drain your battery quickly. You can check what apps are draining your battery by going into Settings > Battery > Usage Details. You should see a list of apps and how much power they are using. Try using the more power-hungry apps less. If these are apps that you don’t use, you could uninstall them.
You can adjust your brightness by going into Settings > Display > Brightness Level. The lower the brightness, the longer your battery will last. Just make sure you can still see what’s on your screen.
If your OnePlus 6 is old, it’s possible that your battery has degraded and can no longer hold as much charge as a new battery. This is the most drastic and difficult solution, so try our other solutions before attempting to replace your battery.

The device feels physically hot to the touch.
Having too many active apps whilst the phone is not in use is a solid reason as to why it overheats, especially if the phone is being charged. The most reliable way to solve such a problem would be to charge the phone on airplane mode and also turn off active apps that are not in use.
Playing games regularly contributes to the many factors that may allow the phone to overheat. To bring these factors under control , use one gaming app at a time , lower the brightness of the phone light , take breaks when playing , and remove phone’s protective cases if there is any. By using one app at a time, the phone ram usage is being lowered. Lowering the brightness of the phone light allows for a lesser use of energy and removing the case from the phone is a way of not trapping heat to the device. It is also very important to take breaks when playing as games demand a lot of the phone resources.
The degradation of a battery life over a period of time leads to overheating of a phone. Replacing the faulty battery is the best solution you can possibly do to solve the overheating issue on the phone. So a new battery can be installed.

Your device cannot access the camera.
When a blank screen appears, the camera may be being used by another application on the phone. To ensure this is not happening, close all apps or apps that have access to the camera, then return to the camera application.
The camera connector on the OnePlus 6 may come loose over time due to wear and tear causing the camera to show a black screen or the screen being fidgety. By using the breakdown guide, readjust the connector so that it is firmly fixed to the camera. If the connector is damaged, a new connector must be installed.
Dropping or hitting the back of the phone can cause the camera lens to become cracked or cause broken hardware inside the camera. If you see that the lens is visibly cracked, breakdown the phone to gain access to the camera and replace the camera with a new one.

When you press the volume buttons or the power button, nothing happens.
If the phone intermittently does not respond to button input, there may be a software issue. Try closing unused applications or powering off and then powering on the phone.
Impact to the phone from dropping or hitting it on something can cause the button connection to loosen. If this happens, the phone will need to be disassembled and the button flex cable fully reconnected.
If the button flex cable is not loose, or the button is physically cracked or damaged, the button will need to be replaced.

The OnePlus 6 phone will run out of battery if not charged regularly. It uses the cUSB cable which can be purchased at any electronics store. Plug in the phone and it should charge and turn on within 10 minutes.
The issue may actually be with the charger and not the phone. Use the charging cord to another device and see if it works. You can also test out multiple USB c cables with the OnePlus 6.
If the OnePlus 6 does not turn on after following the previous recommendations, it is likely that the motherboard is toast and needs to be replaced.
