- Use a number 0 screw driver to remove the four screws.

- Power Button on the side should be pointing outward.
- Note: This is so the ribbon cables inside are not damaged.

- Locate the black and red speaker wires going back to the mother board.
- Note: Speaker wires may run underneath the battery wires.

- Carefully remove the speaker cables from the retaining tabs using a thin metal spudger.

- Pry the speaker out of its molding using a thin metal spudger

- Desolder the two speaker wires from the motherboard using a soldering iron.
- Caution: Soldering Iron is extremely hot.
