  • Use a number 0 screw driver to remove the four screws.

  • Power Button on the side should be pointing outward.
  • Note: This is so the ribbon cables inside are not damaged.

  • Locate the black and red speaker wires going back to the mother board.
  • Note: Speaker wires may run underneath the battery wires.

  • Carefully remove the speaker cables from the retaining tabs using a thin metal spudger.

  • Pry the speaker out of its molding using a thin metal spudger

  • Desolder the two speaker wires from the motherboard using a soldering iron.
  • Caution: Soldering Iron is extremely hot.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
