The device will not respond or show any sign of powering up.
Plug in the device and wait for it to charge.
Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds.

The battery will not charge when the device is plugged in.
Unplug and check to make sure no foreign objects or debris are present in the connector. If necessary, clean out the connector. Then, re-plug in the charging cable and ensure that it is properly seated.
The charging cable could be bad. Try using a different charging cable.
Follow the Onda V701 Battery Replacement guide to gain access to the battery. Ensure the battery connections are not loose. If they are, re-solder them.
The picture on the screen is stuck on an image and the screen is unresponsive.
Hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds to perform a soft reset.
Wait until the battery runs out and then recharge the device. Then, turn the device back on.
The picture on the screen is distorted, it is possibly broken or cracked.
If no damage is suspected, perform a soft reset of the device by holding the power button for 5-10 seconds.

Press the volume up button to set the volume on high.

How to reset the device when problems are occurring.
Hold the Power Button for 5-10 seconds to perform a soft reset.
Check to see if the firmware is up to date and if not then update it.
