The lugs holding the strap of the camera have become loose or have separated from the body of the camera.
The camera strap lugs are held together by two threaded screws. If the strap feels loose, it may be because the screws that anchor the lugs to the body of the camera are loosening. You may need to open the body of the camera in order to tighten the screws.
If the strap lugs have become disconnected from the body of the camera then the two threaded screws may have come off or broken off somewhere within the camera. You may be able to reconnect the lugs to the body of the camera by opening the camera in order to locate the screws and reinsert them. If the screws or lugs have become damaged, then they may need to be replaced in order to reattach the lugs. See this replacement guide for help with reattaching the strap lugs.

The buttons on the camera have become loose or have separated from the body of the camera.
If the buttons are loosening or have fallen off, you may need to replace them. Button loosening may occur from the daily use of the camera and the plastic components may become compromised. The plastic components within the camera may have ultimately become broken or dislodged and opening the camera is necessary to find and/or replace the button components.
It is highly recommended you contact Olympus first for repair of any buttons provided your camera is under warranty.
When reviewing and attempting to zoom in on saved photos, the dial may appear to skip button presses and may take several tries to zoom in.
If the dial appears unresponsive you may need to replace it. See this forum post about the rear control dial for more information. If this does not fix the issue, then the whole top of the camera may need to be replaced. While replacing, the inside should be cleaned with a brush to get rid of any debris.
When attempting to close the SD card door, a noticeable gap may be present indicating that the SD card door may not be closing properly.
It may be possible that there is some debris or dust blocking the door from closing. Make sure to check the hinges to see if there is debris. If there is, using a paintbrush to gently remove whatever is blocking it may help. It could also be that there is some debris where the door meets with the camera leaving a small gap. If this is the case use a small brush to clean out any debris.
If the door hinges do not have any debris but are faulty in nature then it may be required to replace the door. See this guide on SD card door replacement.
When taking a picture with the flash on, the actual flash does not open.
If the camera was dropped or bumped on the shutter it may have created a small dent that is flush with where the shutter would be opening. Because the shutter is plastic, the dent will not be able to be fixed but rather replaced. If the shutter is in need of replacement see the guide.
It is possible that the settings are not adjusted to open the flash upon taking a picture. In that case go into the settings and change accordingly.
If there is debris in the shutter, use a small brush and gently remove any dirt or debris.
If the shutter is opening but the flash is not going off, it may be because the capacitor is not gaining a charge. If this is the case the capacitor will need to be replaced.
If the capacitor is gaining a charge but the flash still is not going off it may be because the resistor needs replacement.
