Introduction

If your batteries go bad after the warranty has expired, you can use the following steps to replace the batteries in your Olight 7XR flashlight.

What you need

              Battery               
  • The three screws on the side can be loosened by an Allen key.
  • The cover can then be removed.

  • The next four screws are encapsulated in silicone. A Phillips screwdriver (PH1) can simply be pushed through the silicone and the screws can be loosened.
  • The outer ring including the plastic cover can then be removed.

Step 3

  • The electronics are now visible. Take out the circuit board by removing the two Phillips #1 screws.
  • After loosening the screws, the circuit board can be carefully turned over in the direction of the cables.

  • There is a plastic cover under the circuit board. This can be removed using the iFixit spudger.
  • The battery cells are now visible and can be removed.

Reverse the steps to reassemble your device.
