This troubleshooting page is designed to assist you in diagnosing some of the common issues with this blender.
For various reasons the blender will not start.
Make sure your blender is securely engaged with a wall socket.
If the lid is not secured, the safety measures programmed into the blender will not allow it to turn on. Check to ensure your lid is properly secured.
If your blender motor is too hot from previous use, it may not turn on. Allow it to sit 15-20 minutes, then try again.
The motor is running, but the blades don’t spin.
There may be residue in the blender bowl base, clogging the turning mechanism. Take apart the spinner section using these directions and thoroughly clean it.
You may have overfilled your blender. Remove some of the contents to see if this is the case.
Over time the rubber engagement mechanism wears out, and it cannot engage. The blades may need replaced.
You cannot get the lid off your device.
You may have attached the lid improperly, which could result in a faulty release spring. The spring may need replaced.
The lid seal on your device may be getting old and may need to be replaced.
The timer will not turn on.
The malfunctioning of an IQ boost may be related to a short in the circuitry.
If the IQ needs a reset, send the blender in to a Ninja Shark Retailer.
The blender bowl is leaking through the lid during use.
If you have overfilled your blender the lid may leak. Reduce the amount of material in the blender and retry.
The lid seal may be old.
The blender is in use it moves across the counter-top.
If the suction cups at the base of your device are dirty or greasy, they will not stick to a surface. Clean them thoroughly and retry.
When your work surface is not level, the suction cups may not gain suction. Make sure your work surface or counter top is smooth and level.
If the rubber on your suction cups is getting old, it may have cracked. This could keep them from properly sticking to your work surface.
