What you need

              Power off Device
  • Turn off the device before starting this process

              Remove the Back Cover (Part 1)
  • Stick your opening pick between the plastic casing and the screen
  • Move your pick up toward the top corner of the phone
  • Rotate the pick so it is parallel with the back of the phone

Step 3

              Remove the Back Cover (Part 2)
  • Move the pick in between the back of the phone and the plastic cover to the top left corner
  • Use the gap made by the pick between the back plastic and the phone to pry apart the two parts
  • The back should now be removed exposing the battery, SIM card, and SD card on the back of the phone

Step 4

              Remove the Battery
  • Insert the pick into the opening near the top of the battery
  • Use the pick to lift up the battery until you can remove it from its resting place
  • The battery should now be removed from the phone

Step 5

              Adding the New Battery
  • Insert the new battery bottom first, lining up the connectors on the battery with the connectors on the phone
  • Slide the battery in and push it down so it stays in its place

              Putting Back on the Back
  • Line up the back with the back of the phone
  • Push down on the back until you hear it snap into place
  • Congratulations! You just replaced the battery on your phone, you may turn it back on and begin using it normally.
