  • To start, press one of the latches at the top of the phone to open the rear cover.

  • Carefully press the other latch.

  • Remove the rear cover.

  • Remove the screws using Torx T6 screw driver.

  • Remove six T6 screws.

  • Remove the assembly. The front cover will be released.

  • To remove the display , unscrew the T6 Torx at top.

  • CAUTION! Remove the bottom screw with T5 Torx screw driver, not T6 !

  • Carefully disconnect the Flex cable connector. Then remove the display.

  • Carefully remove the adhesive keyboard membrane.
  • You can replace it at this step if you need to.

  • You can clean the keyboard surface with alcohol, if you dropped a drink here.

  • When you replace the keyboard membrane, align the two contacts at bottom.

  • You can wash the front cover and keyboard if they are dirty.

  • Keyboard - clean it if necessary.

  • Speaker and antenna contacts.

  • If necessary, you can replace the joystick, the button module or the connector housing.
