Introduction

This is a very easy and straightforward repair, there are no special skills needed or tools. Always fully power off the device before attempting to remove the battery to prevent harm to your person as well as the device.

If the battery appears swollen or pierced this can be a HUGE FIRE HAZARD. Proceed at your own risk when attempting to remove a swollen battery. More information can be found ++here++.

  • Remove back cover of device by pressing firmly and sliding the cover off.

  • Using your finger, lift up on battery to remove from the device. You are now ready to replace the old battery with a new one.
