No matter what you do, the phone will not turn on.

If the phone will not turn on, the battery may simply be drained or bad. Plug phone into an AC adapter and see if anything happens. If the phone will no longer charge, the battery must be replaced.

If plugging the phone in does not work, the battery may be disconnected. Be sure that the battery is secured into the phone. See Battery Replacement Guide.

If the phone will not turn on, the problem could be with the power button. Try disassembling the power button. See Power Button Guide.

If the problem lies with the screen, then the phone requires technical support for screen replacement.

The battery will not charge when hooked up to the charger.

If the battery will not charge, the problem may be that the charger is disconnected. Make sure that it is secured in both the phone and the power source.

NOTE: Be sure power source is fully functional.

If the battery will not charge, it may be disconnected. Be sure that the battery is secured and connected to the phone. See Battery Replacement Guide.

If the battery will not charge, it may be dead and a replacement battery will be needed.

You cannot hear through the earpiece during calls, voicemail, etc.

If you cannot hear through the earpiece, the volume may be too low. Increase the volume using the vertical keys on the side of the phone. It may also help to make sure the volume keys are unobstructed. See Case Replacement Guide.

If you cannot hear through the earpiece, the signal strength may be poor. If indoors move near a window or go outside. If outdoors move to a different area.

If you cannot hear through the earpiece, the speaker may be broken and requires technical support for speaker replacement.

Nothing will show up on the screen.

If the screen will not display anything, the signal strength may be poor. If indoors move near a window or go outside. If outdoors move to a different area.

If the screen will not display anything, the screen connection may be loose or it may be broken. This requires technical support for screen replacement.

The phone cannot send or receive any calls.

If the phone will not send/receive any calls, the antenna may be obstructed. Make sure that the top of the phone is not blocked by a hand or other object.

The keypad will not respond when pressed.

The phone will not access voice mail

If the phone will not access voice mail, you may not have mail service. Call wireless provider.

If the phone will not access voice mail, the mail service may not be set up. Call wireless provider.

If the phone will not access voice mail, the voice mail number may not be saved in the phone. Press Menu, go to Messages > Voice messages > Voice mailbox number. Enter voice mailbox number; press OK.

If the phone will not access voice mail, the saved voice mail number may be incorrect. Call wireless provider.

If the phone will not access voice mail, the password may be incorrect. Call wireless provider.

The person receiving your call cannot hear your voice.

If the receiver cannot hear your voice, the microphone may be blocked. Make sure that nothing is obstructing the microphone.

If the receiver cannot hear your voice, the microphone may be loose or broken and the phone requires technical support for microphone replacement.

Calls may be crackling or silent.

If the phone is getting poor reception, the signal strength may be poor. If indoors move near a window or go outside. If outdoors move to a different area.

If the phone is getting poor reception, the antenna may be obstructed. Make sure the top of the phone is not blocked.

Can’t get to the memory card.
