The tablet will not respond while powered off after using the power button.

The battery may be drained. Connect the tablet to the charger and wait 30 seconds to a minute for it to charge enough to be powered back on.

Check to see if there is any movement from the power button. If not, disassemble the tablet using the first two steps from THIS GUIDE and check to see if there is anything between the button and the connection to the tablet - remove it if so. If that does not work, the button may need to be replaced.

Disassemble the tablet using THIS GUIDE and check the battery to see if it is inserted properly. If it is, the battery may be faulty and need to be replaced. Continue by using the guide to replace it.

The tablet may have been exposed to water. If so, quickly turn off the tablet. Then, dry the exterior of the tablet with tissue paper or a towel. Next, follow the first two from THIS GUIDE to disassemble the tablet. Once the tablet is disassembled, dry the interior of the tablet using a hair dryer. Keep the hair dryer on the low setting and do not focus too much on the screen as too much heat can damage the touchscreen function. Apply heat evenly throughout the entire tablet for about 30 minutes. The tablet may also be dried using rice. To do this, immerse the tablet into a bowl filled with uncooked rice and let it dry overnight. After the tablet is completely dry reassemble it and power it back on.

The tablet will not show any sign of charging.

The outlet that the charger is plugged into may not be working. Try plugging the charger into another outlet.

Check to see if the charger is damaged. Damage can be observed as frayed wiring or loose parts. The charger may also not work due to excessive wear. If either is the case, it will need to be replaced.

Disassemble the tablet using THIS GUIDE and check the battery to see if it is inserted properly. If it is, the battery may be faulty and need to be replaced. Continue by using the previous guide to replace it.

The tablet will not respond while powered on.

Hold power button to power off tablet, then power it back on. If it does not reboot with the power button, connect the tablet to the charger or a computer and try again. If this does not work, reset the tablet by pressing the reset button on the backside of the tablet. If none of the above instructions work, remove and reinsert the battery using THIS GUIDE.

The tablet will not play any sound.

The tablet volume may be set to zero, check and adjust it as necessary.

Check to see if the audio file has an adjustable volume. If it does, it may be set to zero. Check and adjust it as necessary.

If using headphones, check to see if they are connected properly. The headphone jack may not be inserted completely into the socket. Try reinserting it and pushing the jack until it stops.

The speaker may be damaged and need to be replaced. If so, follow THIS GUIDE to replace the speaker.

The tablet microphone will not respond to any sound.

Some applications have an option to turn the microphone on or off. If you’re using one of these applications, make sure the option is turned on.

Check for debris or dust that may be blocking the opening to the microphone. If so, try blowing it out or cleaning it with a cotton swab.

The microphone may be damaged and need to be replaced. If so, follow THIS GUIDE to replace the microphone.
