When the power button is pushed, nothing happens.
Before going further, make sure that the power cord is plugged into the Wii mini and to the wall outlet. Make sure that the AV cable (with the red, white, and yellow prongs) is plugged into your TV and to the Wii mini.
If all cords are plugged in correctly, also test the wall outlet that you are using. Plug something else into the socket to make sure that it is working.
If the Wii mini still does not turn on, there may be a problem with the power cord and/or the AV cable. You may need to use replacement cords.
If the power button does not respond when pushed, there may be a problem with the power board. See the Power Board Replacement Guide to learn how to replace a bad power board.
When a game disc is inserted, nothing happens.
Start by testing another game disc in the Wii mini. If just one game disc is not working, clean the problem disc by gently rubbing with a clean, lint-free cloth. If the game disc has become scratched or otherwise damaged, you may need to replace the disc.
If no game discs are working, there may be a problem with the disc drive. See the Disc Drive Replacement Guide to learn how to replace a broken disc drive.
Games are taking longer than usual to load.
First, try restarting the device by turning it off and then back on. If games still run slowly, the hard-drive memory may be full. Try deleting saved game content to increase capacity.
If deleting saved game content does not solve the problem, it is possible that the motherboard has been damaged and needs to be replaced. See the Motherboard Replacement Guide to learn how to replace a bad motherboard.
The console is very loud and/or becomes hot when in use.
If the Wii mini is running loudly or overheating, there may be dust or debris in the fan that needs to be cleaned out. Use a can of compressed air to blow off any debris on the fan.
If the Wii mini still runs loudly and/or overheats, the fan itself may be broken. See the Fan Replacement Guide to learn how to replace a broken fan.
