Introduction

How to perform a Hard Reset on the Nintendo DS Lite

This guide does not fully reset the console to factory reset modes, but it is used for game and software crashes.

Step 1

              Turn off the console

Turn off the console by going to the side with the power switch sliding it towards the screen.

              Wait 10 seconds

Wait at least 10 seconds.

Wait at least 10 seconds.

Step 3

              Turn it back on

Turn the system back on by pushing the power switch towards the screen. Your DS Lite should be working normally now.
