- Turn the power off on the camera by turning the power dial.

- Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera by sliding the release button.
- This will release the door and you will be able to open it.

- Push in the yellow tab to release the battery.
- Slowly pull the battery out of the camera.
- When putting the new battery in, do not force it in, it should go in smooth and easily.
