  • Open the compartment door by sliding the release switch toward the tripod mount and pulling the door outwards.

  • Press the yellow tab downwards to release the battery, and then hold the camera upright to allow the battery to slip out.

Awesome, if the batery does not come off the camera, it may be blown, open the small black rubber tip on the side of the camera and pull the battery out by pulling with a metal stick in a hole the battery has.
