- Remove two 5 mm Phillips #000 screws below the flash component.
- In order to complete this step the flash must be open. To open the flash press the button located above the lens on the leftward side of the camera.

- Use blue plastic opening tool to pry open the casing for the flash.

- Remove the plastic casing surrounding the flash.

- Pull the wires connecting the flash out of the camera.

- Unsolder the wires that connect the flash component.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
