Hi, I just replaced my Nikon Coolpix L340’s batteries with new AAs and have followed all steps correctly but my camera is still saying ‘battery exhausted’ when I try turning it back on. Any ideas why it’s not working?
Thank you!

The negative terminal must be raised like the Duracell Ultra. The Energizer MAX and other AAs have a FLAT negative terminal. The manual warns against them.
