When the on/off button is pressed the camera does not turn on

If the camera does not turn on, check to see if the batteries are low. If they are low then see guide Nikon Coolpix L32 Batteries Replacement. If the batteries are not low, read on.

If the batteries happen to be put in backwards then the device will not power on. See guide Nikon Coolpix L32 Batteries Replacement.

During use of camera it will turn off unexpectedly

If the camera does not turn on, check to see if the batteries are low. If they are low then replace the two AA batteries by opening the battery slot at the bottom of the camera. See guide Nikon Coolpix L32 Batteries Replacement

If the camera is exposed to high temperatures for a long period of time while in use, it may overheat and suddenly turn off. Do not expose camera to direct sunlight for long periods of time. If exposure occurs then let camera cool in a dry place before continuing use.

LCD screen does not show an image

If the power button is pressed and no lights including the the LCD screen do not turn on then consider replacing the batteries of the device. See guide Nikon Coolpix L32 The LCD Screen Monitor Replacement.

If the camera is turned on and does not display any image on the screen then the LCD screen must be replaced. See guide Nikon Coolpix L32 The LCD Screen Monitor Replacement

When the camera is on standby mode, the screen will look blank. To get the camera off of standby mode, press the shutter button.

When pressing any of the buttons the camera is unresponsive

The camera does not take any more pictures

The camera will not allow you to take any more pictures if the internal storage and the memory card is full. In this case the user should purchase an external memory card. See guide Nikon Coolpix L32 Memory Card Replacement
