What you need

              Battery               
  • Turn the camera so that the base is oriented facing up and the front of the camera is facing towards you.

  • Push the battery compartment door latch, located on the right-hand side of the camera, away from you to release the catch.
  • Release the latch and pull your hand away. The spring inside the compartment will push both the battery up and the door open.
  • Push the battery door the rest of the way open to fully expose the battery.

  • Grasp the battery with your thumb and forefinger and pull up and out of the camera housing.
