Step 1

              Open housing               
  • Turn off the device before attempting to open it.
  • Unscrew the 4 small Phillips screws on the back of the unit.

              Open housing               
  • Carefully insert a solid, flat object between the front and back of the case.
  • Move this object carefully between the housing parts to separate them.

              Removing the back of the housing               
  • The soldering points of the speaker on the back are slightly detached.
  • Untie the front and back sides and place them on a smooth surface.

              Disconnect the cable from the circuit board               
  • Flip up the two clamps that hold the flat cables up to release them.
  • Carefully pull out the flat cables.
  • Unplug the cable on the bottom of the tablet.
  • The white cable at the top sits very tight, possibly use a small pair of pliers to help.

Step 5

              Release the board from the housing               
  • Turn the 3 small Phillips screws out of the board.

              Disconnect the battery               
  • Using a spatula, remove the glue between the battery and the screen.
  • The battery is soldered only with very thin solder points on the board.

Step 7

              Remove the screen               
  • Take the board and the battery out of the case.
  • The screen can now be removed.

Repeat the steps in order to reassemble your device.
