There is a failure in the circuit check that is appearing.
Inspect and tighten, if applicable, the Patient Circuit, Exhalation Valve Adapter, Emergency Relief Diaphragm, Pneumatic Tubing Inside the Ventilator, TSI Air/Oxygen Flow Sensors Assembly, Inhalation Flow Outlet, and the Oxygen Sensor for leaks and damage.
Dissemble the exhalation valve to inspect the valve’s diaphragm and seal.
Clean or Replace the Emergency Intake Diaphragm and Inspect the Rubber Seal between the Inhalation Outlet Block and Mixer Block.
The inspiratory port is receiving no flow or low flow during the inspiratory phase.
If you are experiencing the symptoms of no-flow or low flow during the mandatory breath, you should calibrate the air and oxygen regulators.
To check if the servo valve is working, you must also calibrate the air and oxygen regulators. If the calibration does not fix the issue of flow, you will need to replace the air and oxygen regulators.
The values from the flow and oxygen sensor appear different on the monitor than from the settings they were set to.
Check to see if there is a bacteria filter. The bacteria filter can be obstructed from its use if the filter is dirty. If there is not a bacteria filter or the filter appears to be dirty the filter should be removed and replaced with a new filter.
The exhalation flow sensor is dirty and needs to be removed and cleaned. To remove and replace the exhalation flow sensor the following guide will show the steps, Exhalation Flow Sensor Repair.
Locate the Bacteria filter. Then touch the filter with your hand. If it is not warm to the touch, then replace the Exhalation Heater.
Correct the “Circuit Type” selection in the Patient Set-up menu.
There is an audible alarm with a specific error message displayed in the message window.
If an error message is displayed in the message window and the ventilator cannot cycle, calibrate the servo valves.
If this is not successful in fixing the issue, you will need to replace the servo valves. Refer to table 3-2 to translate the device alert messages. This table can be found at the end of this page.
Poor performance of the battery such as loss of battery power and the internal battery not charging.
If your battery is low is showing loss of battery the battery should be recharged.
If recharging was not fixing the solution the battery or power supply is defective. To fix this the battery/ power supply needs to be removed and replaced.
