              Motherboard               
  • Turn off your device before beginning these steps.
  • Insert the plastic opening tool into the seam between the screen and the back of the tablet. Move the opening tool along the seam until the back of the tablet releases.

Step 2

  • Use the soldering gun to separate all soldered wires from the motherboard.

Step 3

  • Use a spudger to carefully release the tabs on the three ZIF connectors securing the ribbon cables to the motherboard.
  • Carefully pull the ribbons out.

Step 4

  • Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the three 1 mm screws from the motherboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
