Introduction

The batteries are located on top of the lock, and those batteries provide power to both the lock and the keypad. Without the batteries, both will not function as they should.

Before beginning this process, be sure that the device is off.

What you need

  • Make sure to insert a thin-metal pin into the hole on top and press it down until you feel the cover is loose and then take it out.

  • Once you take out the cover pry the batteries out, then replace them and ensure that the batteries are aligned correctly.

  • Once the batteries are put in correctly, you can put the cover back on and it should be working.
