Mic Cable
- Remove the four 6 mm screws from the back panel with the J000 Phillips head screwdriver.
- We suggest designated areas to keep track of all screws.

Step 2
- Open the back panel completely to expose the inside of the Nest Cam.
- Using the tweezers, disconnect the red and black mic cable from the motherboard.

Step 3
- Holding the back panel firmly, use a spudger to pry off the small plastic panel holding the mic cable in place.
- Use a heat gun to melt the glue keeping the mic cable in place and then remove it.
- During reassembly this plastic piece may need to be glued back on to ensure the mic cable stays in place on the back panel.
