  • Use the screwdriver and unscrew each screw one-by-one placing each screw on the magnetic mat to insure they do not get lost.

              Removing the Plunger for Inspection               
  • Carefully remove the plunger from the chamber for inspection.

  • Check to make sure the plunger is intact and has the the rubber stopper at the end of it.
  • Also make sure the spring is intact and is not bent.
  • If the spring is bent you can purchase one similar to it at a local hardware store.

  • Make sure that plunger is reattached to the cocking mechanism.

  • Check chamber to make sure that there are no holes or cracks.
  • If there are holes or crakes then the problem will not be able to be resolved since Nerf does not sell these types of parts.
