Removing the Plunger for Inspection
- Carefully remove the plunger from the chamber for inspection.

- Check to make sure the plunger is intact and has the the rubber stopper at the end of it.
- Also make sure the spring is intact and is not bent.
- If the spring is bent you can purchase one similar to it at a local hardware store.

- Make sure that plunger is reattached to the cocking mechanism.

- Check chamber to make sure that there are no holes or cracks.
- If there are holes or crakes then the problem will not be able to be resolved since Nerf does not sell these types of parts.
