              Motor Assembly               
  • Flip your Neato XV Signature robot over so that so are looking at the underside of it.

  • Using a Phillips head #2 screwdriver, unscrew the four 14 mm (1.4 cm) screws on the external panel that covers the motor assembly.
  • Be sure not to lose the screws.

  • Use plastic spudger to gently pry off the external panel to expose the motor assembly.

  • Gently lift the motor assembly straight up, out of place, being aware of the four mounting posts that hold the motor firmly in place.

  • Press the tab and gently lift straight up to disconnect the motor wires.

Step 6

  • After disconnecting the wire clip, remove the motor assembly out of the compartment.
  • With the replacement motor, you can now begin reassembly.

To finish connecting the new motor assembly, follow these steps in reverse order. Be sure to replace the back external panel and four screws to tightly secure.
