Introduction

This guide instructs you to detach the brush guard; this is intended to prevent damage to the actual brush and brush motor. Then replacement of the brush will be simple!

What you need

Step 1

              Remove Small Wheels               
  • Note: This step is not necessaryto remove the brush guard. Only do this is the wheels are not spinning correctly To begin, turn the Neato Botvac 80 upside down and locate the brush. Remove the 4 screws highlighted in red, and remove the cover. This releases the 2 small wheels, where you can remove the hair that gets tangled in them.
  • You will need to remove the four 10mm bolts with a T10 Torx screwdriver.

Note: This step is not necessaryto remove the brush guard. Only do this is the wheels are not spinning correctly To begin, turn the Neato Botvac 80 upside down and locate the brush.   • Find the two inlays in front of the wheels and pull them to release the brush guard.

Step 3

              Remove Brush               
  • Remove brush by pulling out and to the side.
  • If you want to replace: repeat these steps in reverse with the new brush bar
  • If you want to clean: take the metal bearing off the side, remove the hair wrapped in the orange holder. With a scissors, cut the hair out of the brush roll. Re-insert the brushroll and re-install the brush guard

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
