Computer wont boot up when the power button is pressed.

The more simple and cheap method of determining why a laptop will not turn on is by plugging in multiple power adapters and seeing if either of them help remedy the issue. One by one, plug each adapter into the wall and the laptop and see if it turns on with either or. If it turns on from one of them, you can confirm that the issue is with the other faulty power adapter and purchase a replacement.

If the problem is not with a specific power adapter, it is likely that the reason a laptop cannot hold a charge is due to a defective battery. You can order a new one for the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro 4K Gold Edition for X_PRICE on X_SITE and then follow the replacement guide found here (X_LINK).

The laptop is not connecting to near by routers while other devices are able to.

A common reason a laptop can’t find Wi-Fi anywhere is because the switch on the side of the machine is in the off-state. The switch controls whether or not the device will search for any routers to connect to the Internet through, so ensure it is switched on and attempt to connect to the Internet again.

If your laptop’s Wi-Fi switch is on, and it is still having issues connecting to routers, there are two options you can take. The first is to reset the Wi-Fi card inside your laptop through the Windows Control Panel, clicking “disable” then “enable”. If it still does not work, you may need to go through a physical replacement procedure.

The Bluetooth functionality of the laptop fails to respond or work as intended.

If your Bluetooth functionality isn’t allowing you to pair any of your devices or if your devices connect and then are immediately dropped then you most likely have an issue with outdated Bluetooth drivers. To fix this simply go to this page and download the latest drivers for your respective operating system.

Computer fails to process at regular speeds, unusually slow.

RAM, Random Access Memory, a place on the motherboard where temporary memory is stored that can be accessed quickly by the processor, in a sense it is the computer’s short term memory. That being the case, along with the processor it is responsible for the speed of the computer also, for example, responsible for the cases when you have many applications on at the same time, it keeps those data and keeps the computer running so the more RAM a computer have the more work a computer can do, which is important for gamers.

If the computer is crashing frequently, freezes/lags, or displays the blue screen of death, while the computer is running an intensive task like playing a game then the fault could lie in the RAM. If it is a recent issue then that would mean you may need to replace our RAM. But if this was a problem that was consistent, then the workload the computer doing exceeds its capacity which would mean you would need to add more RAM to the motherboard.

A Graphics Card does exactly what the name suggests, it is responsible for the computer’s display and imaging. The card does the calculations that renders and display an image on the screen. For gamer’s a graphic card is an essential part of the computer because it is responsible for the HD quality of a game, it processes all that data. If the computer is experiencing lagging or freezing the graphics card could possibly be acting up from over use. To resolve this problem, you may need to replace the card from the motherboard.

Despite being connected with an HDMI cable, a steady connection with an external screen cannot be established.

If the computer and external screen are connected via an HDMI port, and the screen still does not register any input, then you may have a faulty HDMI port on your device. To fix this issue, you may have to replace the HDMI port on your device.

If an HDR connection fails, try using an HDMI cable rated at 10.2GBps or greater for a hi-speed connection.
