Battery
- Power off your tablet before beginning disassembly.
- Remove six 2.74mm Torx #3 screws from the back panel of the device with a Torx T3 screwdriver.

- There is adhesive attached to the underside of the back panel. Gradually lift panel to avoid bending it out of shape.
- Pry off the back panel with a plastic opening tool.

- These screws are tight and prone to becoming stripped.
- The battery cables are likely to snap when removing the screws.
- Remove two 2.38mm Torx #5 screws from battery cables with Torx T5 screwdriver.

- Pull up the battery cables and battery chip with tweezers.

- Pry the battery out of the device with the plastic opening tool.
- Some force is needed to lift the battery up because of the adhesive attached to the backside of the battery.
