What you need
Step 1
Battery
- Press the release button located on the upper edge of the battery cover. At the same time, lift the battery cover away from the phone.

- Push the top edge of the battery and lift away from the phone.

Screen/Camera
- Remove the 4 screws on the corners of the inside screen with the T4 screwdriver
- The phone may have rubber plugs covering the screws of the inside screen. If so, remove the rubber plugs with a thin metal needle.

- Use a plastic opening tool to pry the external shell off of the phone.
- Use care when doing this step because you don’t want the external shell or the pieces inside the phone to break.

- Remove the two side buttons with tweezers.

- Use tweezers to remove the circular magnetic ring covering the camera.

- Use a spudger to pry the screen from the inside front part of the phone.
