Step 1

              Removing the Back Cover

Insert a plastic opening tool into the indentation at the bottom of the phone between the front and rear covers.
Lift the back cover from the bottom and remove it from the phone.

              Removing the Battery

Insert a plastic opening tool, or your finger, into the notch in between the sim card and the battery and lift the battery upward.
Remove the battery from your phone.

Step 3

              Removing Screw Covers

Remove all five screw covers with tweezers located in the picture.

              Removing the Midframe

Remove the 10 T4 Torx screws securing the midframe to the display assembly.
Gently pry the midframe from the display assembly and remove it.

Step 5

              Locating the Speaker

Locate the speaker on the back of the midframe.

Locate the speaker on the back of the midframe.

Step 6

              Removing the Speaker

The speaker is attached to the midframe with adhesive. Remove carefully.
Use the Metal Spudger to get between the speaker and the midframe and slowly lift the speaker upwards.
Remove the speaker from the midframe.

Remove the speaker from the midframe.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
