The phone’s screen is unresponsive to touch.

The phone may just need to restart to restore function. Hold down the power button for about ten seconds to power cycle the phone. If the screen is still frozen, then the issue might be the screen itself.

The screen may have lost the ability to sense touch on it, especially if there is damage or cracks to the screen. In this case, it needs to be replaced. See Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Digitizer Replacement to replace the phone’s screen.

The phone does not power on when the power button is pressed.

Hold the power button down for around five seconds. If the phone doesn’t power up, the battery of the phone may be dead and needs charging. Make sure the wall outlet used is functional and plug the charger completely into the port in the phone. Only partially plugging in the charger won’t make the phone charge properly.

The charger may be broken or faulty. To test this, use a functional wall outlet and plug the charger completely into the port on the phone, or use the wireless charging for this phone. If the phone does not respond to these actions, the charger may be faulty and needs a replacement.

The camera does not take clear pictures.

The camera glass can fog up on the inside due to moisture accumulating in the device. See Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Rear Camera Replacement on how to open the device and carefully remove all parts leading to the camera glass. Once you get to the glass, take a piece of fabric and gently wipe the camera glass.

The camera’s resolution is low, causing the pictures to be blurry, grainy, or pixelated. An easy way to fix this is to go to Settings and click Resolution. Make sure the resolution level is not low. If it is, increase the resolution level to its maximum.

The camera stops functioning and fails to be recognized being attached to the phone. See Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Rear Camera Replacement on how to replace the camera.

The phone battery drains too fast.

The battery may seem like it is deteriorating, so an easy fix without having to change the physical battery is to go into the phone’s settings and turn the device’s low power mode on.

The battery has deteriorated to the point where putting it on low power mode is not sufficient. See Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Battery Replacement on how to replace the battery.

When pressed, the volume buttons have no effect on the volume.

The volume buttons may have lost function due to damage and need replacement. Follow this Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Volume Buttons Replacement to replace the buttons.

The vibration function does not function properly.

The vibrator motor may be broken, causing the phone to not vibrate when it is supposed to vibrate. If this is the case, then the motor should be replaced. See Motorola Moto Z Force Droid Vibrator Motor Replacement on how to replace the vibrator motor.
