What you need

Step 1

              Power and Volume flex cable               
  • Remove SIM card tray.

  • Remove back cover.

  • Remove those two rubber cover.

Remove those two rubber cover.

Step 4

  • Release power connecting flex connector and battery connector.

Release power connecting flex connector and battery connector.

Step 5

  • Twist off all 18 black torx screws and remove the middle housing from front assembly.

Step 6

  • Release power flex connector from connecting flex.

Release power flex connector from connecting flex.

Step 7

  • Remove securing bracket and side buttons.

Remove securing bracket and side buttons.

Step 8

  • Pry up and remove the power flex.

Pry up and remove the power flex.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Followed your instructions. Volume works, power button still no go.

It clicks fine, but nothing happens..

The screwdriver is T4 on my european moto X 2014, not T3!!
