Front Display Screen
- Use a heat gun, hairdryer, or iOpener to weaken the adhesive around the front screen. If you’re using the iOpener, please review the instructions for proper use.
- Use the plastic opening tools or picks to create an gap between the screen and the rest of the device.
- Do not use the Jimmy or metal spudger on fragile components, as these tools may end up causing more damage than good.

- Use the suction cup tool to lift the screen without damaging or scratching screen.

- Disconnect the ribbon cable to fully detach the screen from the device.
- Remove the display assembly from the device.

This is not correct at all, all you did was rip the screen off.
To anyone else looking for help use the battery replacement guide for this model and you’ll have much better instructions

I agree with Ender, this is the farthest thing from instructions on how to replace the screen. It’s just photos of how someone pulled the display off the frame. I can’t think of a reason anyone would do this. What’s the point?
