The phone randomly turns itself off and on again while it is being used.

An app on the phone could be causing the phone to reboot. If you switch your phone to safe mode it can fix the reboots. To do this, hold the power button down until the power menu comes up, then hold the power off button and select “OK” when it pops up. If the reboots stop happening after this is done then an app is most likely the problem. You can go through and remove applications until you find the one that is causing the problem, or reset your phone and remove all apps.

If the above steps don’t work then another possibility is that the hardware is faulty in the phone. If this is the case then the most probable course would be to call the store/manufacturer and see if a replacement can be sent.

The device heats up when plugged into the charger.

Try using a different charger and check if the device continues to overheat. If the charger is the issue, discard it to prevent any further issues.

Open the battery door on the back of the device and analyze it for any potential damage to its connections and itself. If you spot any damage, stop using the device and request a repair from Motorola’s website.

Ensure that your device is free of water damage. If there are any signs of water damage, remove the back cover and battery to reveal the Liquid Damage Indicator(LDI). The LDI will appear pink or red if the device suffered any water damage and white if no water damage was suffered.

If you have not rebooted your device in over a week, press and hold the power button and power off the device. Then, turn it back on, and plug it back into the charger.

The LCD Display on your Motorola Moto E6 has unresponsive pixels.

Boot the device into Safe Mode to determine whether the issue is because of a third-party app. To do this first navigate to the “Home” screen, then press and hold the power button until the “Power Off” menu appears. After releasing the power button, tap and hold the “Power Off” option. Next, a “Reboot to safe mode” message should appear. Click “OK” to confirm. The device will now power off and restart into Safe Mode. Unlock your device and enter the screen lock password to advance into safe mode.

If the issue on the device has disappeared, then a third-party-app was likely the cause. To fix this, you should delete any untrusted or recently downloaded apps that could be causing the problem

You should next clear the cache partition through Recovery Mode. To do this first power off the device, then press the Volume Down button and Power button down at the same time until the device turns on. Next press the Volume Down button until the flag next to the Power button reads “Recovery Mode”. Press and hold the Power to restart the device into its Recovery Mode and a logo will then appear on the screen. While holding down there Power button, press and release the Volume Up button. Press the Volume Down key to highlight Wipe cache partition and then press the Power button to confirm this selection. After the cache partition has cleared, select the “Reboot system now” and press the Power button to confirm this selection.

If none of these options solved the problem then the device may need to undergo a factory reset. Go to Settings -> Backup and Reset. Next, enable the option “Back Up My Data” if desired. Then tap “Factory Data Reset” and tap “Reset Phone” to confirm.

A physically damaged screen can cause unresponsive pixels and further issues inside the LCD Display. if the LCD Display is physically damaged, a replacement screen will be required.

Photos taken on the phone are appearing blurry or distorted.

A microfiber or similar cloth can be used for most basic cleanings but for more difficult to remove spots a cotton swab used as a more aggressive cleaning method.

There is an HDR mode on the camera and if this is switched off then the phone will consistently take lower quality. It is pre-set on the phone to be on auto mode, but having HDR mode on constantly should make the pictures sharper.

If the lens appears to have any scratches or cuts on it then the solution would be to replace the camera on the phone for a new one.

The phone occasionally lags, causing the screen to freeze or become unresponsive to touch

If the phone is experiencing a bug related issue, it could be from a specific application that was downloaded or virus picked up from different websites. To temporarily fix the issue, push the power key to turn the screen off then push the key again, turning the screen back on. If this does not solve the issue, reboot the device. It is also worth entering the phone into safe mode using this guide so that third-party apps can be safely deleted without them being turned on. If none of these steps work, follow these steps to factory reset the device.

If the previous steps above did not solve the issue, the device may have a faulty SIM card. Try removing the current SIM card, using this guide, and then replacing it with a new one. If all else fails, contact Motorola Service Center and get the software re-imaged.
