Introduction

You will need to remove several torx head screws. Make sure to use the correct type.

              Removing Rear Panel               
  • Insert the rear cover removal tool, or a paper clip, in the hole near the back camera lens.
  • Slide the cover down to remove.

Step 2

              Lifting the SIM card cover               
  • Using tweezers or your finger, lift the rubber SIM card cover to expose the card itself.

              Removing SIM card               
  • While holding the cover open, use your finger to press and slide out the SIM card.
  • When reinserting the SIM card, make sure the SIM card is oriented in the correct direction, according to the illustration on the device, and that the metal contact area of the card is facing down.

              Insert new SIM card               
  • Follow the same steps in the opposite order to install the new SIM card.
  • Make sure the SIM card is oriented in the correct direction, according to the illustration on the device, and that the metal contact area of the card is facing down.
