- Turn phone so the back panel is facing up. Then proceed to locate the latch at the top, above the Verizon logo.

- With fingernail, push down on the latch and remove back cover.

- Turn the phone over so that the battery text is facing right side up. With a spudger, lift from the bottom of the battery until it disconnects.

- With a new battery, put into battery slot top end first, then push down with finger to secure battery.
