- Remove the highlighted screws shown with a Phillips #2 Screwdriver.

- Remove the motor from the motor mounting plate. Pull the motor and cord to the side.

- Use pliers to grip the crimp.

- Open the crimp by pressing it opposite to how the crimp was pressed. Repeat for second crimp.

- Remove the crimps from the wires by pulling them off.

- Untwist the brown and the silver wire by gripping the tip and unwinding them. Do the same for the second wire.

- Separate the cord and motor.
- Now, depending on whether the cord or the motor was broken, head to the device page to order a new one.
