  • Remove the ear cushions and use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to unscrew the three 5mm screws.

  • Desolder the wires to completely remove the speaker.
  • Take note of the proper location of the wires reassembly.

  • Use a heatgun to loosen the glue holding down the speaker.
  • Be careful to take safety precautions such as gloves as not to cause injury.

  • Pry the speaker out using a plastic opening tool or metal spudger.
  • Using too much force will damage the headphones and the new speaker may not go back into place properly.

  • Insert new speaker and solder the five wires into corresponding positions onto the new speaker.
