Introduction
This repair requires you to work in a small space next to a large capacitor. Don’t remove the insulated wires attached to the capacitor unless you have the tools and the knowledge required to safely discharge it.
What you need

Disconnect all hoses and unplug the power cord

Step 2
Unscrew the electrical box
- Remove the four 59.2 mm-long 4 mm hex socket bolts from the electrical box.

Lower the electrical box
- Carefully pull the electrical box away from the engine until you have enough space to work inside it, making sure not to strain the cables that are still connected inside.
- If you have trouble lowering the electrical box, you can disconnect the green power cord wire for more slack.

Disconnect the wires attached to the power switch
- Disconnect the four wires running to the backside of the power switch.
- These wires may be difficult to remove. If necessary, you can use a pair of pliers to gently pull them up off their contact rails.

Pry out the power switch
- Use a flathead screwdriver or a pry tool to pry the power switch away from the electrical box.

Remove the power switch
- Remove the power switch from the electrical box.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
