Hi there, i’m a bit stuck, in my 35mm SLR i was taking a shot and the batteries died, leaving the mirror stuck in the up position, i’ve changed the batteries and the release for the shutter won’t click, i can’t advance the film lever and so it’s a sitting duck at the moment. They’re brand new batteries but because the mirror is up i can’t even see if the metering works. because i’m half way through a roll of film i don’t want to open the back and ruin it so i’m wondering if there’s any way to get the shutter to release again or to get the mirror back down, i don’t mind loosing a few blank exposures but again i really wouldn’t want to ruin the film. Many thanks and i hope you can get back to me,
Cameron
