- Remove the locking nut by turning in a counterclockwise motion.

- Once you’ve unscrewed the propeller nut, you must also remove the lock washer located directly beneath.
- If you purchased a new propeller kit, you may replace the old lock washer with the new washer you received in your kit.

- Remove the drive pin by pushing on either side so it slides out.

- When reinstalling your new propeller, make sure to properly align the drive pin with the base of the new propeller.

Once you have the drive pin lined up correctly with the base of the propeller, repeat steps 1-3 in reverse order. Make sure to utilize your new parts such as the drive pin and lock washer if you purchased a propeller replacement kit to replace your old hardware.
