Caution: desoldering and soldering presents potential for device damage.

What you need

              Motherboard               
  • Firmly grasp the ear cushions and rotate them counterclockwise, about 45 degrees, until you hear a “click.”
  • To replace the motherboard, you only need to remove the right cushion, labeled with an “R” on the headband.

  • Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the three 2.6 mm screws securing the right speaker housing to the chassis.

  • Lift the speaker housing away from the chassis, taking care not to damage the motherboard connections.
  • Desolder the two speaker motherboard connections.

  • Use a Torx screwdriver to remove the four screws.
  • Lift the motherboard up and out of the chassis.
