Warning: The following guide is likely to ruin the water resistance of the device.
What you need

- Unscrew both side panel 2mm screws using the T3 Torx screwdriver.

- Firmly pry up the side panel using the plastic spudger to break the waterproof seal and lift the battery panel.

- Gently pry up one edge of the battery with the plastic spudger.

Step 4
- Remove battery from its compartment with your fingers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Replace the vibrator in its original compartment.

where can i buy the battery?

From what I can tell it’s something like this:

which is a 3.7v flat lithium ion polymer 72mAh battery. Min order is 1030 though! You can find similar on AliExpress if you search for that description. The dimensions are listed as 414.821.5mm so it’ll need to be within that, or maybe the OP can confirm the battery size?

Anyway to upgrade to a higher capacity battery to get better life out of it? With GPS on, it dies in 2 hours and I go on 8 hr hikes.
