Step 1

              Battery               
  • Remove the screw on the top of the boat to access the battery compartment. Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver.
  • Screw size is 16 mm in length.

Step 2

  • Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding the cover in the direction of the back of the boat to disengage the lip holding it on.

Step 3

  • Remove the 6 screws using a Phillips #2 screwdriver. Ensure you store the screws where you will not lose them.
  • Remove the battery cover once all the screws are removed.
  • Screw sizes are all 10.5 mm in length.

Step 4

  • Replace with new batteries, which are 6 x AA. Make sure the positive and negative ends of the batteries align with the positive and negative connections in the battery compartment.
  • Check to make sure the boat is functional. If it is not powering on, consult the troubleshooting page.
