Step 1

              Unscrew the hard drive cover               

• Unscrew the hard drive cover on the back of the notebook. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to do this

Step 2

              Remove old hard disk drive               

• Remove the loose cover of the hard disk cage and loosen the small screw of the M.2 SSD

Step 3

              Install a new hard drive               

• Gently pull the SSD out of its connector.
• Now insert the new SSD into the slot at an angle of 30°.
• There is only one way the SSD fits in the slot. So if it doesn’t fit properly, you probably tried it backwards or the angle doesn’t fit exactly.
• Now screw the hard disk with the small screw of the previous hard disk.

              Tighten cover               

• After you have installed the new hard disk, screw the cover back on.
