Speaker and Mic Guide
If the phone’s speaker and mic do not function due to water damage, no other cleaning and drying method has worked out you may need to replace the speaker and mic.
If the phone’s audio panel’s connection is damaged, speaker and mic could be inoperative. Then replacing the mic and speaker is the solution.
Cannot initiate the volume button up or down or volume changes on its own.
Volume Button Guide
If cleaning your volume button with isopropyl alcohol and trying to remove any debris in the gap between volume buttons still doesn’t work, you will need to replace the volume button flex.
If the circuit for volume control is damaged, volume control may not be available. In this case, circuit connected to the motherboard should be replaced.
The phone doesn’t boot up after several hard drops or overcharged.
Motherboard
A motherboard is one of the essential parts in a phone and it has many different crucial components of the phone. If damaged, the phone cannot turn on despite having full battery.
The power may not be on due to malfunctioning battery. Replacing the battery would solve the problem.
The front glass screen shattered or cracked after a hard drop.
Screen Guide
The phone glass screen is cracked, and LCD displays are invisible. You will need to replace the glass screen.
If the screen is cracked or shattered, the touch sensor may not work.
Phone battery draining so fast due to overcharge or overheat.
Battery Port Guide
After using extensive amount of charging cycles, phone’s battery might need replacement.
Sometimes a phone battery port may get corroded which shortens the battery life. In this case, you will need to change the battery port.
