  • Locate your water filter in the fridge.
  • On this fridge, it will be located above the top shelf on the right hand side.

  • Make sure that the water filter you purchased is recommended for your refrigerator brand.
  • Open the filter container. using the push button

  • Twist the filter slightly to the right.
  • It is important that this is done gently, since it could be easily broken.

  • Remove the old water filter and drain the excess water in the filter into the sink.
  • The filter could be disposed by being placed in the regular garbage.
  • Extra water should be dumped into the sink before it is thrown away.

  • Install the new water filter by screwing it into the nozzle.
  • Twist in the opposite direction that you used to take out the filter.

  • Place the new filter back in the containment unit.
  • Make sure it it tight and the top is closed for the filter to work properly.
  • Throw out the first tray of ice made after changing the filter.

  • Get a large container and press the water button and hold it for roughly 60 seconds.
  • Make sure to dump this water in the sink, since it would be not safe to drink.
  • After the water has been run for 60 seconds the water is again filtered and ready to drink.
  • It should make a odd sound when used for the first time. This is perfectly normal, and will stop making that sound after the first time it is used. It is air in the system and will stop once the water filter is full of water.
