Netbook screen flashes repeatedly and will not respond to any keystrokes or mouse clicks.

Check to see that all connections between the wall outlet, the AC adapter power supply, and the laptop are snug. Once complete check the power supply LED. If device doesn’t turn on, and the battery is taking no charge, the power supply is unjust. Try replacing it with an AC adapter that is compatible.

Netbook shuts down while in use without low battery then comes to life again without prompt.

Turn off Netbook, remove battery, reinsert battery, charge to full battery, turn Netbook back on.

Use a third party source to review your batteries wear level, the capacity is was designed to have, and it’s current capacity.

Screen is dim, may start up with a red tint, or you may even hear a high pitched hum coming from the screen itself.

Brightness setting may be too low to visibly see the screen, use the command keys (F11) to make sure your brightness is turned all the way up.

If liquid has been spilled on the screen, the screen may stop working. If previous solution does not work, try replacing screen.

Netbook will not turn on even after attempting to charge. 

Make sure charging cord is not frayed, and properly fits into the charging port. Make sure outlet is fully functioning.

If charging cord, port and outlet are not damaged, consider replacing your netbooks battery.

Netbook creates and exudes heat that slows the Netbook’s functions.

Use the Netbook for shorter periods of time. Give the Netbook air underneath to breath. Consider buying a laptop fan.

Your Netbook may be overheating due to dust build up, blocking intake grills or exhaust ports, a clogged up fan, or a degenerated thermal grease (aka thermal compound) between the heat sink and the CPU or GPU.
