  • In order to start uncrewing any of the screws off the speaker we have to peel the protective cover off.

  • Pry the front of the speaker off using your nails or a device capable of fitting inside the crevice.

  • Once pried off, we have to remove the eight 1.2 cm screws on the speaker.
  • Use a TR9 screwdriver for the screws.

  • There are six more 1.2cm screws required to remove in order to take out the motherboard.

  • You then need to unplug all three wires connected to the motherboard.
